Suspension & Steering Spare Parts

Ball Joint

Ball joints are one of the critically important parts connecting chassis and wheels with suspension arm. They are designed to withstand the force from braking, accelerating and sudden shocks.

Driving Ball Joint

This part used in light weight commercial and passenger cars transfers the movement received from steering system to the wheels to turn to the right or to the left.

Steering Arms; in the commercial vehicles, these are the parts transferring movement coming from steering system to push wheels to right or left.

Circular movement of steering wheel is converted to linear movement by means of steering gear box. Converted linear movement is transferred to right and left wheels by the steering arm. Front steering arm connects right and left wheel pushes the other wheel and achieves right-left turn.

Steering arms and ball joints connected to the arms are exposed to axial-radial (vertical-horizontal), the static and dynamic loads during usage. Vibrations from the road, and in case of falling in a culvert, will give ball joint axial load, when turning right or left, ball joint will receive radial load. Steering arms and ball joints must endure these loads.

V Arms Torque Rod

Straight Drawbar and V-Drawbar are connecting parts in heavy commercial vehicles. This is an important subject for the new generation vehicles having heavy duty suspension and characteristics. Especially they are used effectively in the front wheel independent suspension for the buses. Also used as component for heavy vehicles to bond chassis and the body, providing not only strong bond between chassis and body, but also eliminating shakes and vibrations from the road felt by driver and passengers.

Drawbars are the parts to bind chassis and drive shaft, regulating side movements and also enable vehicle’s safe movement by amortizing unpleasant acceleration impact from driving force transferred to wheels, braking force and uncontrollable movements of the wheels reflecting road surface conditions.
